We are looking for an experienced engineering manager to drive the technical execution of our projects while ensuring effective leadership, compliance with standards, and support for various departments. Responsibilities

I. Technical Leadership:

  1. Lead and mentor the technical team in design, development, and implementation of solutions.
  2. Oversee the adoption of new technologies, best practices, and innovative solutions to meet project requirements.

II. Project Leadership:

  1. Plan, execute, and monitor technical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
  2. Manage project resources, timelines, and risks while communicating progress to stakeholders.

III. Team Management & Technical Oversight:

  1. Provide clear direction and coaching to team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
  2. Ensure technical accuracy, code quality, and adherence to architectural principles through regular reviews and guidance.

IV. Technical Documentation & Process Compliance:

  1. Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for projects and processes.
  2. Ensure all projects comply with internal standards, industry best practices, and legal or regulatory requirements.

V. Support to BD & HR Departments:

  1. Collaborate with Business Development (BD) to provide technical insights and support during client engagements, proposals, and solution design.
  2. Assist HR in the recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of technical staff, ensuring alignment with the organization’s objectives.

Qualification & Skills

Mandatory

  1. Full Stack Development: Hands-on experience in both frontend and backend development, with proficiency in PHP, Python, and Next.js.
  2. Cloud Management: Practical experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS. (Experience with Azure/GCP is a plus.)
  3. Mobile Application Development: In-depth understanding of the mobile application development lifecycle for both Android and iOS, using native and hybrid technologies.
  4. AI Integration: Proficient in leveraging AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT to boost productivity and enhance code quality.
  5. Deployment & DevOps: Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and managing production environments.
  6. Architecture Design: Deep understanding of scalable, maintainable, and secure system architecture design.
  7. Live Product Management: Proven experience in managing live products or platforms with 10,000+ active users.
  8. Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor cross-functional engineering teams in dynamic project environments.
  9. Product Development: Track record of leading end-to-end product development—from prototyping to large-scale deployment.
  10. Technical Training: Capable of upskilling teams quickly on emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
  11. Development Methodologies: Well-versed in Agile/Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning and iterative delivery.
  12. Code Quality & Review: Strong emphasis on coding standards, code review processes, and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.
  13. Security Best Practices: Knowledge of secure coding practices, data privacy compliance, and basic application security principles.
  14. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  15. Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to problem-solving and quality assurance in engineering deliverables.
